WayHome reveals its 2016 lineup

WayHome finally released its lineup today, announcing LCD Soundsystem, Arcade Fire and The Killers as its 2016 headliners, along with HAIM, M83, Chvrches and Major Lazer.

WayHomies who spent all weekend working out the festival's360° video cluesactually have excellent sleuthing skills.

These amateur detectives accurately predicted that bands such as Wolf Parade, Glass Animals, Third Eye Blind, Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats and Matt and Kim would be playing some time over the July 22 to 24 weekend.

Organizer also confirmed numerous local acts such as Stars, The Arkells, Shad, Dilly Dally, Young Empries and BadBadNotGood. Many (including this writer) will be excited to see FKA twigs, Chet Faker, Beirut, Future and Mac DeMarco on the roster.

Overall, this crop of artists seems pared down in comparison to last year's inaugural fest - I mean, how can you compete with Neil Young and Kendrick Lamar? However, this lineup may end up fitting in well with WayHome's relativelylaid back vibe.

Despite the lack of Radiohead (hey,Osheaga), this burgeoning musical extravaganza in Oro-Medonte looks like it won't disappoint as it returns for its second edition.
