This Parkdale restaurant does affordable three-course pre-fixe meals that will leave you stuffed. Extra points for ambiance, daily specials like buck-a-shuck and their new living wage policy where tips are optional, just like in the Philippines.

Wilson Street’s staple dinner spot has been cooking up Filipino eats for years. Given the huge and hearty portions of lechon kawali, oxtail soup and sinigang for decent prices, Sampaguita remains one of Little Manila’s most popular restaurants.

Benedict Lucido, a.k.a. Chef B, has brought his lechon to this Etoicoke plaza on Horner Avenue. He’s paying hommage to his Cebu roots with crunchy and flavourful pork belly, sisig fries and huge kamayan platters.
