Describe your blog in 10 words or less.
A list of eclectic web links that go well with that first cup of coffee at work. Refreshed daily.

Why did you start your blog? Blogiversary?
I was working as a new media strategist, and it was clear to me that to legitimize my work I needed to become an active participant in the blog world, not just a theorist. The site launched February 2005.

How long have you lived in Toronto?
Since 1977.

What's the funniest/strangest thing that has happened to you in Toronto?
The blackout is hard to forget. Our apartment was so hot we pulled the mattress onto the deck. We were woken up by squirrels crawling around our heads.

What are some of the changes in Toronto that you have seen in your lifetime?
TTC subway conductors used to blow a whistle before the doors closed, now it's all electronic chimes and flashing lights.

What era, day or event in Toronto's history would you like to re-live and why?
1964 at Maple Leaf Gardens. The Beatles played Toronto for the first time and the Leafs won a third consecutive Stanley Cup.

Who's your favourite Torontonian?
Sarah Polley. I hear she lives in my neighborhood.

It's given a productive channel to my ADD.

Isn't this it?

Ever met a stranger who already knew you through your blog? How was that?
Sometimes people at parties introduce themselves. I like hearing which posts they particularly enjoyed and shared with friends.

Lose any friends or muck something up because of a post?
Never. I made a decision at the outset that the blog would be about online culture and not about my life.

Who are your fav bloggers?

What's happening in Toronto right now that the rest of us should be watching?
I've been told that the animals at Riverdale Farm are pregnant.

A strong, frothy cappuccino.

If you could gather all of the bloggers of the world together into one room and tell them one thing, what would it be?
Drinks are on me.
